Informing the UNSW Canberra City campus Master Plan
The UNSW Canberra City campus Master Plan community consultation program commenced on 5 March 2020. The community participated in a series of consultation activities designed to seek valuable and constructive ideas to inform the campus Master Plan.
In the interests of public safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, all face-to-face engagement activities for the UNSW Canberra City campus Master Plan were refocused to online, phone and remote engagement. These channels allowed the community to contribute ideas in the same way they would do in-person. The community and stakeholder engagement program was also extended for a further two weeks as well as the addition of an extra online drop-in kiosk. The opportunity for community input to inform the Plan closed on 18 May 2020 and UNSW Canberra welcomes ongoing input from the community throughout the planning process.

Feedback from the community consultation is being collated and will inform the UNSW Canberra City campus Master Plan. This feedback, along with the draft Master Plan will be shared with the community as we endeavour to build people’s understanding of the development, creating appropriate and equitable opportunities for the community to ask any questions. The initial UNSW Canberra City campus community consultation has been managed by Communication Link. Communication Link is a local consultancy firm which has been engaged by UNSW Canberra to encourage and facilitate independent, open and transparent community and stakeholder conversations that will make genuine contributions to the master planning process. The personal data collected during the UNSW Canberra City campus community consultation will remain confidential and not be available for public use.
