The UNSW Canberra City Campus project is strongly aligned with these strategies and the values that underpin them.

Canberra Institute of Technology
The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) Reid campus currently occupy part of the new UNSW Canberra City Campus site. CIT and UNSW Canberra will continue to work together to develop integrated, shared spaces that will complement the vibrant, collaborative campus environment.
UNSW Sydney
As set out in the UNSW 2025 strategy, UNSW aspires to be Australia’s global university, improving and transforming through excellence in research, outstanding education and a commitment to advancing a just society. The largest UNSW campus is located on a 38-hectare site at Kensington, seven kilometres from the centre of Sydney. Other major campuses outside of Canberra are Art & Design in Paddington.
UNSW Defence Research Institute
A strategic initiative of UNSW, the UNSW Defence Research Institute (UNSW DRI) will stimulate, unify and support defence-related research within the UNSW community. The UNSW Defence Research Institute works to deliver world-class defence research to enhance Australia’s security.
The UNSW DRI will be key to the Precinct, facilitating partnerships and connections within the innovation ecosystem.
